Choosing new habits

It’s my husband’s first day back at work today after being home with me for over a week. Here alone, doing laundry, TV playing, feeling bored, I notice the urge to eat. I’ve gotten half of my protein shakes in for the day, and I can’t feel hungry (I don’t feel my new pouch at all).

This is when I’d normally eat. Graze. Taste.

So instead, I’m going for a long, sweaty walk.

To new choices!

    I’m so proud of you. I wish I lived somewhere where the avg. temp wasn’t in the twenties…but Michigan is just that way I guess.

  2. Good for you, Meg! So much of this has got to be simply (or not so simply really) relearning what to do with our time and our emotions. You are well on your way!

  3. Good job girlfriend!! It is so hard to pick yourself up from time to time and realize what is happening… I think it’s wonderful that you recognized it for what it was and took action.

    You are doing REALLY well, and only good things can come from taking advantage of an opportunity to work out.
