About

Hi, my name is Meghan and I am going to win this battle of the bulge, so help me God! I am 26, live in Florida, married, no kids. My husband Lee makes appearances on this blog every so often, usually when I have something to complain about because I’m appreciative like that. I work at a private University, start and PhD program in fall 2008, and admit to being an overachiever. Except when it comes to health. Until now.

I started researching and preparing for Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery in April 2007. I was approved by insurance in December 2007 and had surgery January 22, 2008. This blog chronicles both my experience on the weight loss journey and in life in general.

Welcome to MegaMeggs, and happy reading!

When I look at your website in Firefox, it looks fine but when
opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, awesome blog!
